WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland will travel to Ukraine for meetings with the country’s government officials and business leaders next week, the US Department of State announced in a press release on Thursday.
“On July 15-16, in Kiev, Ukraine, Assistant Secretary Nuland will meet with senior Ukrainian government officials, political and business leaders and civil society representatives to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues,” the release read.
Prior to her visit to Ukraine, Nuland will join the US presidential delegation in Srebrenica for the commemoration events on July 11. Then, from July 11 until 14, she will travel with an interagency team to Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania, and Serbia to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
