Super-Typhoon Heads Toward China, Hundreds of Thousands Evacuated
18:15 GMT 10.07.2015 (Updated: 18:25 GMT 10.07.2015) Chan-hom typhoon approaches the eastern coast of China, the country is on high alert.
The typhoon has started landing in the Zhejiang province with heavy rainfalls and gales, according to Xinhua news agency. Neighboring Fujian province and Shanghai City will be affected, too. Not less than a hundred flights have been cancelled and other traffic routes disrupted.
More than 865 thousand people have been evacuated already. This storm is expected to be one of the strongest in decades.
