The rally outside the Ukrainian embassy was organized by the Right Sector’s representative office in the Canadian capital, 112 Ukraine TV channel reported, citing the Facebook account of the so-called Ukrainian Volunteer Corps.
Two people were killed and nearly a dozen others were injured as militants from the far right armed group Right Sector clashed with police in Mukachevo, a city in Ukraine’s western Zakarpattia region.
Clashes involving firearms started on Saturday, when Right Sector fighters reportedly opened fire at a local sports center after failing to split spheres of interest with a local MP.
Police arrived at the scene, and heavy arms including grenade-launchers and machine guns were used in the shoot-out, local media reported.
