“Ukraine will sign an agreement on a free trade zone with Canada… Russia closed its market to our goods, but Canada is ready to buy our machines and consumer goods,” Yatsenyuk said during the “10 Minutes with the Prime Minister” talk show, ZN.ua reported.
“We expect the top Canadian negotiator on the FTA deal to arrive here tomorrow and I hope we are now fully on track to signing it,” he added.
UNIAN news agency had earlier reported that on Monday Arseniy Yatsenyuk would lead a government delegation to the United States to take part the first Ukraine-US investment conference.
On Tuesday he will be on a working visit to Canada to meet with Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
On Wednesday the Ukrainian Premier will pay a working visit to London.
