A military-sport competition, “The Heroes’ Race,” featuring several ships and aviation of the Russian Pacific Fleet, took place in Vladivostok last weekend.
A military-sport competition, “The Heroes’ Race,” featuring several ships and aviation of the Russian Pacific Fleet, took place in Vladivostok last weekend.
“The Heroes’ Race” is a massive military-sport event during which teams of participants cross obstacle courses, developed especially for training of the Russian Special Forces.

Forces of the Russian Pacific Fleet were engaged in the competition as part of the course came along seashore. The group was comprised of missile boats, submarines and a minesweeper. A large Project 775 (the Ropucha) class landing ship took part in the competition for the first time ever.
