"We delivered on what the whole world was hoping for — a shared commitment to peace and to make our world safer. This is a historic day also because we are creating the conditions for building trust and opening a new chapter in our relationship," the joint statement reads.
Economic and financial sanctions against Tehran imposed by the United Nations, the United States and the European Union will be lifted once the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verifies the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program, Federica Mogherini said.
"The joint comprehensive plan of actions…. To introduce comprehensive lifting of all UN Security Council sanctions as well as multilateral and national sanctions related to Iran's nuclear program, including steps on access to trade, technology, finance and energy."
"The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is a balanced deal that that respects the interests of all sides," the statement says.
The final text of Iran deal contains the main text, and five technical annexes on nuclear, sanctions, civil nuclear energy cooperation, a joint oversight commission, and implementation.
"These documents are detailed and specific. That is important because both sides wanted clarity so as to ensure the full and effective implementation of the agreement," the statement continues.
Moreover the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action aims, when implemented, "to give confidence in the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program," the statement said calling on the international community to support the deal's implementation.
