WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Two out of four inmates who escaped from a prison in the Mississippi shortly after Midnight on Monday are still on the run, media reported.
"Officials say two of four prisoners who escaped from a Mississippi jail before a late-night bed check with help from inside and outside the facility remained at large Wednesday,” ABC News reported on Wednesday.
Montreal Damon Anderson, 25, is facing a stolen property charge and was detained as a convicted felon, while John Rollins, 23, was charged with auto theft and false pretense, media reports said.
The two other inmates, Jermaine Wilson, who was charged with capital murder, was captured on Monday and Kevin Holmes, who faces three counts of armed robbery, was recaptured separately.
Officials say an investigation into the escape is undergoing, and all four men will face escape charges. The authorities did not provide any other details about the investigation.
