The European Stability Mechanism (ESM), the Eurozone's bailout fund, will provide about 50 billion euros ($54 billion) to the Greek aid program, ESM chief Klaus Regling said Thursday.

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – Earlier on Thursday, the Greek parliament voted in support of a new package of bailout measures, opening doors for the resumption of international lender aid. The bill raises taxes and cuts pensions on Greek citizens.

“The sum is not at least, but at most, 85 billion euros. That is what the summit decided this weekend. I expect a large part, but not all, to come from the rescue fund, perhaps 50 billion,” Regling said in an interview with German ARD broadcaster.
