At least nine people have been killed and fifteen others wounded after two female suicide bombers, including a 10-year-old girl, attacked the town of Damaturu in northeastern Nigeria during prayers for the Muslim festival of Eid, sources said.
It was reported that the explosions went off at about 7:15 am as volunteers waited for the worshippers to assist in crowd control.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the blasts, which some say could be the work of the Islamist group Boko Haram.
