MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Five bodies have been discovered inside a residence in the southwestern US state of California, local police reported.

Authorities made the discovery responding to a phone request to conduct a welfare check on the home in the city’s residential neighborhood. Police did not disclose the identities of the five victims.
The Sacramento Bee cited the department as saying the scene is investigated as a homicide, adding that it does not yet have a lead or a suspect in the crime.
