The apparently drunken man was overpowered by fellow passengers after he started a fight shouting and intimidating travelers before being restrained by belts, Vostok-Media news agency reported.
The man, whose name was not mentioned, was detained after the plane landed in Vladivostok.
In a similar incident on April 29, a male passenger on board a Kazan-Moscow flight locked himself up in a lavatory after flight attendants asked him to stop smoking and return to his seat.
The man then shattered the lavatory mirror and started a brawl. He was detained by police upon the plane’s arrival in Moscow.
In March, a Moscow-St. Petersburg flight was forced to turn back after a heavily intoxicated passenger from India tried to take over a fight in mid-air.
The troublemaker was placed under police custody after the plane landed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport.
