MOSCOW (Sputnik) — An investigation conducted by the Daily Express revealed that some 311 languages or dialects are being spoken by some 1.1 million children in British schools, while in some educational centers English is scarcely heard at all.
“This shows the Government’s inability to control mass immigration is causing severe problems for public services such as the education system,” Woolfe said, as quoted by the Daily Express newspaper on Friday.
The United Kingdom is experiencing a major wave of immigration, with 624,000 people having immigrated to the country in the year ending September 2014. Immigration to the United Kingdom is on an upward trend, according to the UK Office for National Statistics.
