A powerful blast staged by a female suicide bomber killed at least fourteen people and injured forty-seven more in the northeastern Nigerian town of Damaturu on Sunday, according to media reports.
The explosion, which occurred at 9:50 local time (0850 GMT) at a local market, comes a week after thirteen people died in a triple suicide bombing in Damaturu, where people were busy preparing for the Eid festival, which marks the end of Ramadan.
