MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the CBS Baltimore, the stabbing incident took place at Anna Prayer Counseling Center. One person is in critical condition, the outlet said.

There was a prayer service in progress at the time of the knife attack. Police arrested one person who is in custody.
The outgoing weekend was a tragic one for Baltimore after two men were killed and five more wounded in separate instances of shooting across this Maryland city on Friday night and Saturday morning.

State Attorney Marilyn Mosby said on July 13 that the city was plagued with homicides. Four people were murdered in Baltimore on the very day she spoke.
The stabbing at the prayer center comes more than a week after Dylann Roof lethally shot nine people, including the pastor, at a Charleston church in South Carolina.
