MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A fire at a furniture factory located on the outskirts of the Egyptian capital of Cairo has killed at least 24 people, a spokesperson for the country’s health ministry said on Tuesday as quoted by the local Al-Ahram news portal.
He added that another 24 workers sustained injuries in the incident.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway.
