MOSCOW (Sputnik) — US Republican presidential hopeful and real estate tycoon Donald Trump said Wednesday in an interview with CNN that his big immigration plan was to find and deport all undocumented immigrants and then legalize the "good ones."
"I would get people out and I would have an expedited way of getting them back into the country so they can be legal," Trump told CNN.
He indicated that those who were already in US jails should be repatriated to their countries of origin and banned from entering the United States.
"Politicians are not going to find them because they have no clue. We will find them, we will get them out… It’s feasible if you know how to manage. Politicians don’t know how to manage," he argued.
Tuesday’s opinion polls showed Trump was leading the Republican pack in the New Hampshire primary ahead of the 2016 presidential vote.
The multibillionaire has been making headlines nationwide due to his controversial comments on immigration.
