WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US State Department employee Daniel Rosen, who was earlier charged with soliciting sex from a minor, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to voyeurism and stalking women, according to local media reports.
Rosen entered a plea agreement after US police found videos of at least 20 women on his mobile phone, ABC News reported on Wednesday. Now he is facing up to 11 years in prison, as well as a possible fine.
On February 25, the Fairfax County Police Department charged Rosen with soliciting sex from a minor.
Following the arrest, the State Department announced that Rosen’s security clearance was suspended and he was placed on administrative leave.
US media reported Rosen was a senior State Department official in charge of federal counterterrorism programs.
