MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A shooting in the sports ground in the municipality Delgado in the central part of El Salvador has resulted in five deaths with two people wounded, local media reported.

La Prensa Grafica daily newspaper reported on Sunday, that the shooting was conducted from a car, moving near the sports ground.
According to police sources, one of the victims is an employee of the Salvadoran Transport Ministry, Arturo Noe Juarez.
The National Civil Police of El Salvador link this shooting to the conflict between criminal gangs, because it occurred near the territory disputed by two gangs.
Police are searching for the perpetrators.
