MOSCOW (Sputnik) – China will have the largest delegation at the East Russia Economic Forum (EREF) in the city of Vladivostok on Russia's Pacific coast, Deputy Minister of the Far East Development Maksim Shereikin told Sputnik Thursday.
“The [Chinese] delegation will probably be headed by Vice Premier of the State Council of China Wang Yang. The delegation of Heilongjiang Province headed by governor Lu Hao has also confirmed its attendance,” Shereikin said.
According to the EREF organizing committee, about 98 percent of Russian diamonds, 50 percent of gold and about 40 percent of the county’s marine products are produced in the Far East regions of the country, but sustainable development for the region needs investment both at the local and international level.
