WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Clinton garnered 44 percent support compared to 40 percent for Bush, with 15 percent undecided, according to the poll.
“Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush runs the closest race against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,” the Zogby polling company announced in a statement on Thursday
Bush, the brother and son of former US presidents, also did well against other possible democratic candidates, according to the poll.
Bush leads Clinton among independents by 38 percent to 35 percent.
“This is indeed a competitive race as of now,” Zogby concluded. “After all this time as a potential then real candidate, Mrs. Clinton is showing no real gain or advantage.”
Clinton and Biden both hold 10 point leads against Trump, the poll showed.
