"The US is clinging to the 'argument' about the Iranian missile threat to Europe. Otherwise, it would have to acknowledge that its European missile shield is targeted at Russia. But that’s clear anyway," Pushkov wrote on his Twitter page.
CША цепляются за "довод" об иранской ракетной угрозе Европе. Иначе им придется признать, что ПРО направлена против России. Но это и так ясно

On August 7, the US State Department said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had twisted facts in his comments on President Barack Obama’s statement about the anti-missile system in Europe.
Earlier, Lavrov had commented on a statement he had made in 2009. At that time, the US president had said an agreement on the Iranian nuclear dossier would make the US missile shield in Europe unnecessary. The State Department stated that the final agreement on Iran reached in July did not change the situation, as the US has other threats to counter.
