Eric Walters was out on a stroll in the Henderson County area with his dog, Zippy. He spotted a figure running in the field across the street and, thinking it was a bear at first, he took his phone out to film it.
But just as he started filming, Walters goes into a state of almost fanatic fear, when he realizes the creature he was filming wasn't a bear. Instead, he believed it to be a Sasquatch. Paralyzed by fear, Walters can be heard yelling "Oh my God, on my God!" as his little pet dog runs to the rescue.
"I quickly realized it was not a bear but a Sasquatch," he told ABC11. "Zippy could tell I was scared and got so riled up that he got loose and went after it. It turns out the brave little guy chased the Sasquatch away and saved from a possible encounter. I love him more than ever."
As to whether or not the creature caught on the blurry footage was really a Bigfoot, Walters asks viewers to keep an open mind.
