MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On July 31, right-wing Israeli extremists firebombed the Dawabshe family’s home in Duma village. Ali, 18 months old, died in the fire while his father Saad succumbed to injuries over the weekend.
"All those arrested yesterday for interrogation have been released," the Middle East Online quoted a Shin Bet security agency spokeswoman as saying.
The exact number of those released was not specified, but local media reported earlier that at least nine suspects have been arrested over the past 48 hours.
Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon has for the first time authorized the use of administrative detention, or indefinite incarceration, on Israeli citizens in the wake of the attack.
Yaalon signed off on placing three far-right activists arrested last week on administrative detention over the weekend.
The mother and 4-year-old surviving members of the Dawabshe family remain hospitalized with critical burns.
