MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "We see the desire of some influential regional powers to affect the preparation for the implementation of this deal, and we understand the motives behind such actions," Ryabkov said.
The West had long suspected Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons, and introduced several rounds of economic sanctions against it.
Last month, Iran and six world powers reached a historic deal ensuring the safe nature of Tehran’s nuclear program and lifting the sanctions.
Israel has always been a staunch critic of the deal, claiming that Tehran intends to use the money it receives from the lifting of sanctions to support terrorism in the Middle East. Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted that the deal would be a mistake, leading to a nuclear Iran.
