While many Poles are losing their jobs due to the fact that they lost the Russian market, Ukrainian “victims of aggression” continue trading with their “aggressor” as if nothing is wrong, Obserwator Polityczny wrote.
A large number of trucks are travelling to Crimea, while Ukrainian oligarchs and even their president have businesses in Russia. All indications show that European politicians are lying to their voters, and they must be held accountable for it, Obserwator Polityczny continued.
"You cannot run away from the truth that the West did all it could for a long time to incite the anti-Russian actions. It directly equips and trains Ukrainian soldiers who might possibly commit hostile acts in the information space. The West has incited conflicts in Transnistria, perhaps even in Moldavia and Latvia," the Polish news portal wrote.
"It's better not to think about what could happen there, as it will have consequences for the whole world because it is impossible to imagine a situation in which the Russian government would accept without protest the suppression of their compatriots by NATO forces right on its borders," the Polish media noted.
Despite such a situation, trade between the Ukrainian oligarchs with Russia, Donbass and Crimea continues as does the business of Mr. Poroshenko in Russia. People who are lied to by the media are not aware of the fact that every day across the Crimean border hundreds of trucks pass and trade continues, the portal continued.
"So the question is what is the reason behind so many people having to lose their jobs, what is the outcome of these sanctions that result in Russia declining the Polish manufactured goods."
It all shows that in relation to Russia there is not only a classical double standard, but also a double lie. People in the West are given a false picture of the actual situation, Obserwator Polityczny concluded.
