MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the spokeswoman, the sides will exchange views on the key issues of global and regional agenda, including the ways to settle the Syrian crisis.
Lavrov and Zarif will also discuss cooperation in counter-terrorism and anti-drug activity, as well as rapid development of bilateral economic cooperation, especially the implementation of the projects in the energy sphere, including nuclear power.
"The foreign ministers will focus on further development of bilateral relations, including in the light of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran's nuclear program agreed in Vienna on July 14," Maria Zakharova told RIA Novosti.
She noted that the upcoming visit would take place in line with the Russian-Iranian political dialogue, which had significantly intensified recently.
