There is no shortage of ideas to fill the void but we will have a look at the wildest one expressed so far. Unsurprisingly, it has to do with America's southern border.
In an article for the El Pais newspaper journalist John Carlin carried trends visible today to the point of absurdity and one of them offers a possible (but likely improbable) glimpse into the future of the US:
"US troops crossed the Mexican border to 'recover,' as stated by [president] Trump himself, the states of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas. … There are indications that a significant proportion of the population in the six states is glad to see US troops. Hashtag #bienvenidomrtrump is a trending topic in the city of Monterrey."
This might be over the top but what we know for sure is that the era of political correctness will be over if Americans vote for Trump.
.@redstate I miss you all, and thanks for all of your support. Political correctness is killing our country. "weakness."

So many "politically correct" fools in our country. We have to all get back to work and stop wasting time and energy on nonsense!

Trump has been generating a lot of buzz across all types of media but many doubt he has a real chance of winning. After all, election campaigns often run an unpredictable course and polls are not the best indicators of what will happen.
