BEIRUT (Sputnik) — The latest delivery of humanitarian cargo to Syria and the evacuation of 80 people took place on May 28.
"The plane has delivered some 21 metric tones of humanitarian aid [to Syria]. On a return flight, it took 59 people — nationals of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Syrian members of Russian families," the diplomat said.
