South Carolina Nuclear Reservation on Lockdown Amid Potential Threat
20:49 GMT 17.08.2015 (Updated: 21:24 GMT 17.08.2015) Nuclear reservation Savannah River Site in the US state of South Carolina has been put on lockdown after a potential security threat emerged, according to media reports on Monday.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — WRDW-TV News reported Savannah River Site in the Aiken County has been put on lockdown and site barricades have been set up to stop traffic after an unknown security threat took shape.
There is no indication the threat is outside of the nuclear facility and no one is allowed in or out of the site, media reports said.
