He also reassured that Iran’s maritime borders are effectively protected and the country will curb any possible threats near its borders.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also downplayed anti-Iran remarks by US officials saying they had better make changes to their policy.
"The shaky foundation of the dangerous and invalid project of Iranophobia has collapsed," Zarif said in a statement released in response to an address by US President Barack Obama, where he had once again repeated his anti-Iran remarks.
Zarif also urged US officials to abandon their "dangerous and harmful habit" of using war rhetoric.
"We once again remind the US officials that for nearly a century, the civilized world has abandoned the option of using force and threats as a foreign policy tool, and considers it not only inhumane and illegal, but also inefficient," the minister stated as quoted by Tasnim.
In May, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei reaffirmed that the country will provide an adequate response to any act of aggression against it.
