MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Bambang Soelistyo, the head of Indonesian search and rescue agency (BASARNAS) said that the rescue team had found at least 20 bodies at the crash site.
"Indonesian rescue workers have reached the crash site of a Trigana Air Service passenger plane," the CNN said, citing a senior Indonesian official.
On Sunday, an Indonesian aircraft with 54 people including five children, on board disappeared over eastern Papua province. The plane belonging to Trigana Air Service lost contact with air traffic control when it was en route from Sentani Airport to Oksibil both located on the island of New Guinea.
