SAIL Amsterdam is one of the largest maritime events in the world, held every five years in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. During the event, which was held for the first time in 1970, tall ships from all across the globe visit the city and dock at its eastern harbor, allowing visitors to explore these vessels of an age past.
SAIL Amsterdam 2015 launched on August 19 and is scheduled to close on August 23.
