MOSCOW (Sputnik) — More than 65 civilians were killed in southwestern Yemen in Saudi-led coalition airstrikes, an aid organization reported Friday.
"More than 65 civilians in the province of Taiz, Yemen have been killed in Saudi-led air strikes today… The deaths occurred when the strikes hit civilian homes in the area," Salah Dongu’du, Project Coordinator of Doctors Without Borders said in a statement, adding that at least 17 children were killed.
According to Dongu’du, patients and the organization’s staff are unable to get to hospitals in Taiz due to heavy fighting and airstrikes.
