MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least 12 people were killed and 66 injured on Saturday after a deadly terrorist attack in the Afghan capital, Kabul, a spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Public Health Wahidudllah Mayar said.

Mayar added that the injured were sent to hospital, but their health condition was unknown.
Afghan media reported that the suicide bomber attacked a vehicle convoy transporting foreigners near the Macrorayan residential area located not far from the government offices and foreign embassies.
No terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Last week, a suicide car bomber killed five people and injured at least 16 at the Kabul airport. On August 6-7, three separate attacks occurred in Kabul, killing 77 people in total, and wounding hundreds.
