The trailer for the dystopian themed "bemusement park" opens with a typical, perfect family of four. Obviously bored with their mundane, every day lives, the family hops into the van and drives away for their perfect little family getaway.
But unlike the family, Dismaland is far from typical. The park is the product of British street artist-activist Banksey, who essentially turns the Disney fantasy on its head with a satirical twist. With the magical castle in shambles, Cinderellas pumpkin coach ruined, and black balloons decorating a decrepit kingdom, the bemusement park clearly has no place for any happily-ever-afters.
