The incident occurred in China's northeastern city of Harbin and was captured by CCTV footage of the scene. The five commuters can be seen going about their normal day when the ground beneath their feet gives in, and takes them with it.
Three people fell straight through the 10-foot deep hole, while one woman clings to the pipes underneath the sidewalk, and another falls in sideways. According to local Heilongjian Network Broadcasting Television, the four people who fell in recived minor injuries to their feel, legs, arms and shoulders.
