The Show Must Go On! Fire Alarm Doesn't Stop Newscast

Subscribe
A newscast is interrupted by the loud ringing of a fire alarm, but the anchors seem completely unfazed.

When a fire alarm rang during Tuesday night's 6PM newscast on WRC-TV in Washington DC, anchor Jim Vance decided that he and his colleagues should remain seated and continue their report.

"As we know, there's a fire alarm going off even as we speak, because we are not daunted here!" He announced. "We are journalists and we keep it on."

Though the dedication is admirable, much of what was discussed in the newscast was drowned out by the deafening sound of the alarm.
