WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The 34-year-old Harf’s tweets were widely seen as a preemptive strike to discredit in advance a hard-hitting speech Cheney was scheduled to give later on Monday morning at the conservative American Enterprise Institute and criticize the Iran nuclear agreement.
"Wrong Then Wrong Now," Harf, a senior adviser to Secretary of State John Kerry, tweeted with a hashtag citing Cheney’s admission that he was wrong to advocate the US invasion of Iraq in 2003.
