MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin is always open for dialogue with his US counterpart Barack Obama, but no contacts have been coordinated so far, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.
"President Putin is always open for dialogue, especially with his colleague, President Obama," Peskov told reporters, adding that the sentiment was mutual.
Peskov said earlier on Tuesday that Putin and Obama could possibly meet in New York City on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly to discuss the situation in Syria.
