VIENNA (Sputnik) — Earlier on Tuesday, the Director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said that Amano could visit Iran within the next few days.
“We are currently engaged in discussions with Iran on the implementation of the Road-map [for the clarification of issues relating to Iran's nuclear program]. In this context, a visit by the Director General is also considered. Details are still to be worked out,” Dahl told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
Moreover, Iran is expected to host 10 EU trade delegations in the next two weeks to discuss the possible economic cooperation after the lifting of international sanctions against Tehran, the chairman of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture said Tuesday.
About 10 delegations had already visited Tehran to discuss business cooperation since the country reached the agreement, Masoud Khansari was quoted as saying by Iran’s Press TV.
Soon after the deal, Iran announced that it could renew its economic ties with the EU states including oil and gas deliveries that were restricted by the sanctions imposed on Tehran amid suspicions that it was developing nuclear weapons.
