WASHINGTON, (Sputnik) — Airstrikes in Syria eradicated four Islamic State tactical units, three fighting positions, two vehicles, a cache, and a motor tube.
“In Syria, coalition military forces conducted five airstrikes using fighter and remotely piloted aircraft,” the release read. “Separately in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted nine airstrikes.”
The airstrikes were conducted near Ar Hasakah, Ar Raqqah, Manbij and Mar’a.
In Iraq, coalition airstrikes destroyed seven ISIL tactical units, two vehicles, four fighting positions, an excavator and a heavy machine gun. The aerial attacks were conducted near Al Huwayjah, Baji, Kirkuk, Mosul, Ramadi, Rawah and Sinjar.
