A minor crime like jaywalking in Stockton could result in a ruthless beating and slam to the ground by nine police officers.
A video that captured the forceful arrest of a 16-year old boy, identified as Emilio Mayfield, according to CBS Channel 13, went viral on the Internet. The footage shows a police officer beating up a minor with his baton near a bus stop, before several other policemen showed up and slammed the boy's face to the ground.

Joe Silva, the spokesperson of the local police department, said the boy resisted the arrest and grabbed onto an officer's baton, although it's clearly seen in the video that the boy was simply trying to defend himself from strikes trying to hold onto the baton.
