GORKI (Sputnik) – The International Investment Forum in Sochi expects more than 1,700 participants from 25 countries to explore investment opportunities in Russia next week, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak said Monday.
Sochi-2015 is a four-day international event scheduled to kick off in the southern resort city of Sochi on October 1. It is held annually under the aegis of the Russian government to bring together foreign leaders and chief executives with Russian officials.
"Participants from 25 countries have confirmed their attendance so far, including from Europe and North America. The forum gets a lot of attention from potential investors seeking to trade with Russia, invest in it," Kozak told reporters.
