US, India to Expand Intelligence, Terrorist Information Sharing
13:46 GMT 23.09.2015 (Updated: 10:29 GMT 06.08.2022) Washington and Dehli work to increase sharing of intelligence and terrorist watch-list information, the US-India Joint Declaration on Combatting Terrorism released by the State Department said on Wednesday.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Secretary of State John Kerry and Indian Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj agreed on the declaration during the inaugural US-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue that took place on September 21-22.
“Minister Swaraj and Secretary Kerry commend…the continuing efforts to finalize a bilateral agreement to expand intelligence sharing and terrorist watch-list information,” the declaration reads.
