WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification, and Compliance Frank Rose will travel to Belgium to meet NATO, EU officials to discuss missile defense and ongoing security issues, the US State Department said in a press release on Friday.
“On September 29, Assistant Secretary Rose will travel to Brussels, Belgium, for meetings with senior NATO and EU officials to discuss outer space policy, missile defense, and other international security issues,” the release said.
During his September 28 — October 8 trip to Europe, Rose will also visit France, Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Romania for talks on missile defense, arms control, and other security challenges facing Europe.
