17:51 GMT 26.09.2015 (Updated: 17:57 GMT 26.09.2015) Houthi militants have downed a Royal Saudi Air Force Apache helicopter, killing 13 servicemen, a Houthi spokesman said Saturday. Saudi Arabia has not commented on the claim yet.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The militants attacked the aircraft when it attempted to fly over the Houthi positions, according to him.
"The helicopter has been downed in the [Saudi southwestern] administrative district of Jazan on the border with Yemen, as a result 13 Saudi soldiers died," Mohammed Abdul Salam wrote on his Facebook page.
