"It's shocking to have no relations with Russia," another tweet by the National Front leader read.
"C'est hallucinant de ne pas avoir de relations avec la Russie. On prend le risque de la jeter dans les bras de la Chine." #LeGrandJury

Russia's relations with the West deteriorated sharply in 2014 over the Ukraine crisis. The United States, the European Union and their allies accused Moscow of meddling in Ukraine's internal affairs and introduced several rounds of anti-Russia sanctions.
Marine Le Pen has repeatedly urged to restore relations with Moscow and expressed support for Russia's foreign policy, including in the context of the Ukrainian crisis.
