UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) – The US secretary of state earlier told RIA Novosti about upcoming talks with the Russian foreign minister though he did not specify either the date or the format.
“A meeting between Lavrov and Kerry is scheduled for September 30. This will be their third meeting on the UN General Assembly sidelines,” the source said.
Kerry and Lavrov already met twice in New York to discuss common anti-terrorism efforts in Syria and Iraq, as well as the Ukraine crisis.
