TOKYO (Sputnik) – A Japanese citizen was detained by the Chinese special services in China’s eastern Zhejiang province close to a military facility, according to the channel. The incident happened in May, the media reports, adding that the Japanese national is still in detainment.
Two more suspected Japanese spies have also been detained near the Chinese-Korean border, the media reported.
According to the media, Japan’s foreign ministry is currently gathering information considering the detainees.
