According to the hotel chain, hackers managed to sneak a virus into the computer systems of locations in New York, Chicago, Toronto, Miami, Honolulu, and Chicago. That malware could then record payment information.
"An independent forensic investigation has not conclusively determined that any particular customer’s payment card information was taken," the company said in a statement, according to CNN Money.
